Joanne Barnes (she calls herself a Research Consultant) e-mails me saying she wishes to send me a check for one of the books.
I ask for her phone number & she refuses saying she just wants our address.
When I said I have to talk to her first & we only accept certain forms of payment (I listed them off), this is what she wrote…
You sound like a SCAM!
Any legitimate publisher certainly would have no problem with giving their physical address to receive and process orders!!!!!!!!!!!!
You call this customer service????? YOU are a SHAM Lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People, NEVER EVER give out your address to people who refuse to be contacted.
I don’t care if your business is online, there are tons of scammers out there who think they can play you like this person thought they could. An online business doesn’t always (sometimes they do) have a brick & mortar location for all snail mail.
A good lesson that anyone can sound like they are interested, but when they are pushed, they won’t give out their personal info. That’s a warning sign that they have something to hide. I’ve NEVER refused to give out my personal information when purchasing online. It’s the right of every company to ask for that information.

Oh my god, this Joanne Barnes is NUTS.
She thinks the whole world is out to get her instead of her adhering to the company’s policies. I hope she never gets into the escort industry because any agency that would hire would have HUGE issues, and customers would probably be very sorry.
The minute she gets angry, she freaks out like this.
