Just because Jim acted in a pimp like manner by taking the majority of money from the call leaving the escort with only 40%, doesn’t mean for one minute that I feel professional ethical business people who run an escort service should be arrested or are pimps.

While I don’t consider escorts to be prostitutes, I do feel prostitution should be legal & running an escort agency should be legal.

There are people like Jim who get into the escort industry & then people who are like me, who feel there is nothing wrong with running an escort service if done properly.

This is part of my job, to help clean up the escort industry from these criminal types.

I ran an escort service twice for many years & I was NOT a pimp, but ignorance & angry people will damage the escort industry’s reputation by calling us names.

It just so happens that when someone purchases my business kit & doesn’t pay what they owe to Exotic Publishing, chances are you are going to eventually find out a lot of other negative things about them like bimi has stated above.

That is one of the reasons I have this blog.

And finally, James purchased in December & his next payment was in January. That was a whole month before he was arrested, so James not paying has nothing to do with his arrest. It’s obviously just the type of person he is based on what was stated in the post above.

Apparently he did not read the information from your material he purchased and promised to pay for because he was arested in Jacksonville, FL on Feb 9, 2009 with various charges of prostituiton. The charges were eventually dropped to 2; transporting prostitutes and deriving an income from prostitution. He ran ads on craigslist, drove his girls to the agreed place, charged and collected $250 for an hour and then would return to pick up the girls. He kept 60% and the girls got 40%. Everyone can go to http://www.coj.net; then to civil court search, type his name James Helms and you can read all the various documents. If you hurry, you can go to State of Florida inmate search and see his picture! The best read is the appeal denial…his argument was that he was not aware the girls were actively prostituting because he had them all sign paperwork which contained a paragraph stating they would not engage in prostitution!

He is a vile person. I had known him for 20+ years. I dontated to his kids charity baseball team and even loaned the team money to go to finals. When I was not repaid the loan, I learned that RiverCity Baseball is defunct and Jim Helms was just pocketing all the money! I should have checked sunbiz.org BEFORE I gave him the money! During this time I agreed to a business venture where I paid all the money and he did all the work. The project was to fix up a residential house for resale. I trusted him to do/oversee construction. I reimbursed him for expenses when receipts were given to me. Right when we started this project I was told I had cancer. I was running my business (of 15+ years) and running doctors apointments; trusting him to complete the rehab of the house. I FINALLY realized I had spent $100,000 and HAD NOTHING TO SHOW for it! I confronted him and discovered he had been submitting fake receipts and stealing from me! I confronted him and he becme aggressive; shoving me head first into his vehicle!

I feel he is VERY UNETHICAL and lacks morals and integrity. I don’t think his wife (Katherine Helms) is any better because they both completely ignored all my request for reimbursement and seem to have a pattern of deceit and theft. Again look at http://www.coj.net. I can honestly say he is one of the most evil persons I have ever encountered. BE AWARE!!!!!!!!

Anything is possible, but considering every other client of mine doesn’t agree, I highly doubt it.

My business kits are worth even more then what the price was at the time that James purchased it. Many people have said that.

Also, one can’t purchase something, then say “I didn’t like it, it’s not worth the price”, use it, have it in their posession & then just decide to not continue paying the balance that they owe to the company.

Even in my Terms & Conditions it says NO REFUNDS. Bookstores don’t allow you to refund something you have already read & while my business kits are way more than books, they are along the same lines as books.

That is not how our society works & is considered fraud.

Money is still owing (plus interest) & James Helms never contacted me. He has never had one complaint & so even if he had a complaint, I can’t solve a problem I don’t know about.

I don’t feel that was the issue at all. I think James Helms knew he didn’t have the money when he purchased, he figured he would just get the product, then not pay & get away with fraud.

Also when looking back, I see that James had numerous problems with his computer, so we spent a lot of time helping him & giving him excellent customer service AND, that when it came time for his second payment to go through, he had trouble making that payment too. So no James, this is YOUR responsibility to pay your bills. Trying to blame others for your actions is not a mature act & shows faulty thinking.
