First I must clarify that Bethany was nice throughout all of this, but it did end up being a huge drama for me, so I do have to put her on this blog.

Bethany is an escort & she wants to open an escort service, so she tried to buy my “How to start & run your own escort service” business kit.

At first she responded to my e-mail within a few hours, but everything went downhill from there.

Bethany has a lot of issues which reflects some unfortunate escorts – lost ID, no driver’s license – it was revoked, her kids are up at all hours of the night, her daughter (couldn’t have been more than 4 years old) answered her business line that her clients call in on, etc.

Unfortunately Bethany refused to be screened according to our terms & conditions, & she almost never answered her phone. I had to chase her for over a week & then when it was finally clear the order was not going to go through & this person was going to cost me even more money, I told Bethany I will refund your order, but you have to pay us our service charge. That’s when she decided to ignore all of my phone calls & e-mails.

I told Bethany she isn’t ready to open an escort agency. She doesn’t respond to e-mails or phone calls in a prompt manner (she says she only clears her voice mail & responds to e-mails once per week which is totally unacceptable.), she refuses to be screened (yet she’s going to ask her clients to be screened? That’s called hypocrisy), & she doesn’t fulfill her business obligations. So in a way it’s a good thing this came to my attention, as the last thing I want is to help someone who acts in this manner to open another unprofessional escort service.

Remember, I’m trying to clean up the escort industry, not make it worse.

I chased Bethany for almost 2 weeks before I finally gave up. She cost me money in service charges plus my time, & in one of my numerous voice mails to her, she was told she would go on this blog if this wasn’t settled, & she had nothing to say in the matter. I will repeat that she was a very nice person, but just too much drama to be both an escort or escort agency owner, & her drama cost me a lot.

Joane went to purchase our Platinum Mentorship Package which trains people how to start & run a successful escort service. She decided to go on our 3 month payment plan. While Joane agreed to be screened & all was fine, after I processed her order she suddenly wanted a refund saying she would purchase the entire business kit when she had all of the money.

In order to prevent Joane being put on the blog or having to pay unnecessary charges, I gave Joane several choices some of which I normally don’t do for clients. I also told her we don’t offer refunds.

Unfortunately since there are so many unethical people in the escort industry (although a lot of people take advantage of companies, not just in this industry), I have no way of knowing if Joane would ever come back to purchase & we had already incurred a lot of charges because of her purchase. I had also spent a lot of time screening her & then processing her order. I even asked her when we were on the phone to confirm she would have payments 2 & 3 telling her she could always pay it off earlier. I reminded her that failure to make all 3 payments was considered fraud. She said all was fine.

It wasn’t until several hours later after she had been given access to the first portion of the business opportunity kit that she suddenly started asking for her money back.

She claimed it was because she wanted to read the entire kit on the plane to Haiti & I told her she could print everything off herself or she could upgrade to the printed version once all of her payments had been made, but I never heard from her again. It started to become clear to me that she had no intentions of ever becoming a client, she had just cost us money & wasted a lot of my time.

She also refused to pay the processing fee to refund her which I did have to double because more charges were incurred than normal.

I tried to call her & she ignored my calls, I e-mailed her several times & she ignored me. I gave her a deadline of tonight at 10 pm & never heard from her again.

Richard (her partner according to him) initially contacted me not understanding the “state” field on our shopping cart which I found a little odd only because his e-mail clearly stated he was into web design & I feel most web designers should know how shopping carts work. None of my other UK clients who aren’t web designers have ever had a problem, otherwise I would assume it wasn’t just him.

I wrote him back twice & answered his question & I never heard from him again.

Then several days later Mandy purchased the “How to Become a Successful Escort” business kit & I started to have problems with her from the getgo.

First she didn’t see or fill out our required survey which is also part of our screening process.

Then she says she didn’t get the e-mail with the link to the survey that is sent out to everyone just in case they close their browser right after they purchase. Again I’m wondering why she didn’t see it as it comes up right after the order goes through. I had to write Mandy back several times & even redo her subscription to our client list so she would receive the e-mails she was supposed to be reading. This isn’t something I normally have to do for clients, but I’m all about customer service, so I gladly helped her out.

Then I assume she received the e-mail with the survey link because then she starts giving me attitude that she WON’T adhere to our screening process & she shouldn’t have to because all she is doing is purchasing a book. At this point I was put off. I really don’t deal well with arrogant “know it alls” who try to tell ME how to run a business. It does not matter what a consumer purchases & this isn’t a book, it’s a business kit & this is a relationship with Exotic Publishing to further people’s future in the escort industry.

All companies (online or offline) have the right to screen their clients & this is the escort industry where screening is even more mandatory. It even stated in our terms & conditions that there is screening, especially for people outside of North America, so I started to become suspicious as to why this is such a problem for her.

I started to get the impression that she knows very little about business. Many so called web designers online aren’t true business people. Usually they are just one man operations that don’t understand business at all, which is why they can be very difficult to deal with because they think they are real business people just because they can hang a shingle, & they make no attempt to learn from successful business people. I didn’t know her situation, I was only going based on what I had to deal with so far.

At this point I didn’t want her as a client any longer, as the relationship had already been soured.

I told her that I was going to say it like I see it… that if she really does run a business, she of all people should understand how business works & understand what was asked of her. I felt because she seemed SHOCKED that a business would actually screen her, this now made me question how professional her company really is. I also asked her not to get into the escort industry because she will hinder it since she doesn’t believe in screening & whether she works as an escort or starts an escort agency, this will be a risk to herself or others. Remember, I am trying to clean up the escort industry & also make it more safe.

While I understand this isn’t something she wanted to hear, this is what I felt & I feel it’s my job to advise people, as that’s what they pay me for. They pay me for my expert advice both in business & in the escort industry.

At this point I had already spent a couple of days dealing with her & now I was going to have to refund her the money even though we don’t offer refunds. At first I was going to take our required 15%, but I no longer trusted Mandy, so I just refunded the full amount. Our no refund policy is something else that was clearly mentioned in our terms & conditions page.

So now this entire transaction was costing me money, but that didn’t irk me as much as the attitude from someone I expected more from.

It was also clear to me that Mandy still hadn’t read any of the e-mails that were sent to her inbox & I had asked her to read them again as this would explain our procedure. If you don’t read, you don’t learn & then there are problems. It’s really that simple.

I then get a very angry e-mail back from Mandy which kind of disturbed me. Mandy says she’s already an escort & has been for years & she runs an escort agency, so I’m SHOCKED that this girl has been in the escort industry for years & then has the nerve to tell us we can’t screen her when I’m sure she screens all of her clients who see her. Now I wasn’t sure if she was an escort, escort agency owner, a web designer, or what was going on.

Upon further review I already see a discrepancy. In her original purchase she says the reason she purchased the “How to Become a Successful Escort” business kit was: “I am thinking of running an Agency.”

So she tells me she’s already run an agency (or still is), but really she hasn’t.

Then Richard proceeds to write as well & while he was much more professional sounding, he also hadn’t read things he should have. He also had the nerve to try & tell us how to run our business & then tried to speak for the entire world when he should only be speaking for himself.

Richard, others don’t have these issues that you have. Whenever you have a problem with someone or a company, please speak only for yourself.

David purchased my “How to Become a Successful Escort” business kit on March 6, 2010

At first everything seemed okay with him until I started trying to call him to confirm his phone number. He kept telling me he couldn’t answer his phone until after 7 pm & I did as he asked. One night he told me I could call him late as I had gone out. I did & there was no answer so I left a message. 2 minutes later he e-mails me & tells me to call him again so I did & AGAIN he didn’t pick up the phone so by now I’m getting frustrated because he had JUST e-mailed me. Why tell someone to call you if you aren’t going to pick up the phone.

I left another message & e-mailed him as well. That’s when David Denham started to ignore me.

I called him several more times & e-mailed him several more times. I even told him I’m going to have to put him on my badlist (this blog) if he doesn’t get back to me. I told him I didn’t want to, but the order was starting to become very suspicious.

In the end David Denham wasted a lot of my time & cost my company money because I didn’t process the order. I don’t tolerate flakes who waste people’s time (they are called time wasters in the escort industry) & for that reason David is now on my badlist.

David mentioned that he was potentially going to open up an escort service in Miami with an experienced female. I assume that’s Marcia Mendes.

John tried to purchase a volume or two of my Box Set on “How to Start & Run your Own Successful Escort Agency” & wasted my precious time in the process.

He was difficult to deal with right from the getgo.

Literally 10 minutes after he ordered online, I called him & there was no answer. What did he do, disappear from the planet?

I e-mailed him right after that, nothing. He didn’t even fill out the survey that popped up on his screen right after he ordered which is fine, the odd person doesn’t look at what pops up, they just rush away from the monitor & I get them to do it later on, but then…

I called him 2 more times in the days that followed leaving messages asking him to contact me & still no response from him. I e-mailed him again & finally 2 days later I had to tell him that if I didn’t hear back from him within 2 hours, that I was going to have to take appropriate measures. Who purchases something online from a site & then doesn’t follow through, especially when the company is calling you?

Originally the comments in his order he said he tried to order two of my volumes, but my site wouldn’t let him. I started to get a hint from this that John isn’t very smart. Nothing was wrong with the site.

After FINALLY getting a response from him via e-mail & him being clueless as to what was going on plus him not understanding that I call all people before I process their order, I realized I was right, he was a few bricks short upstairs.

Even now after finally talking to him on the phone because he didn’t respond to my last e-mail last night after we were in the middle of a conversation about all of this & again no word from him again today, he still had no idea that I call from a private caller even though it says that all over the e-mails & webpage he got once he ordered.

He didn’t even understand what screening meant.

I told him he shouldn’t get into the escort industry because in this industry EVERYONE gets screened, & I feel even mainstream companies online should screen orders from new people they don’t know.

Fraud is rampant all over the net. I don’t just give away this valuable information to people who are thieves. LOL, I mean come on.

So anyway, we don’t want John Blackburn as a client, he wasted about 30 minutes of my time & I received nothing for my time.

Patrice Robinson from  Chicago Illinois ripped Exotic Publishing off.

She made a mistake & purchased too many products on how to start & run an escort agency service, then she lied saying she listened to our terms & conditions (we require everyone to listen & read our Terms & Conditions before we process their order) when she clearly didn’t because she demanded her e-books when she knew full well we hadn’t screened her yet.

Then I explained to her that I could issue her a credit for her mistake on ordering too many of the same product. I could have been unethical & not said a thing, someone wanted me to do that, but I said no, I’m not an unethical person & I care about my clients). I also told her I could refund her the full amount minus our 15% service charge, but that is when she started freaking out even further & demanded a FULL refund saying it wasn’t her mistake. Then she tried to call us scammers when SHE was the one who scammed us. I was being nice, as we don’t offer refunds AT ALL. This is clearly listed again in our Terms & Conditions.

I feel Patrice is one of those so called consumers who is not only moronic, but then blames the company for her mistakes & then costs the company money when they didn’t make a penny. We lost a lot of money on this transaction & never made any money in return.

I am actually glad this happened, I feel I have prevented one more unethical, one more unprofessional person from using my expert knowledge in starting their own escort service. That is not what my turn key business plan is for.

She ordered the book, filled out the survey no problem, but then I couldn’t reach her via phone & she had no voice mail set up, it was just a beep which only confuses people calling.

Then she had problems with her cell phones (god knows how many she had), so every time I called her, she never picked up.

Then after 1 1/2 months she is like “what is my tracking number”. I told her there is no tracking numbers on e-books (not a smart escort), so finally I just refunded her her money because it was clear she had too many problems & getting her on the phone was next to near impossible even with 3 phone lines.

She’s one of those escorts that makes all escorts look bad.

She wasted tons of my precious time over 1 1/2 months and she cost me money in fees.

She purchased the book “How to Become an Escort” & then told me she was going to be in Manhattan for a few weeks working an escort agency.

She hadn’t filled the survey out yet, so I waited figuring she was busy.

I wanted to call her on her cell in Manhattan for obvious reasons, it’s cheaper.

Then she didn’t understand that the survey was just a survey & didn’t mean she had to pay again.

Then she gets back to Germany & starts demanding the book as if this entire waiting period was my fault.

I tried to call her several times on her German number & each time she wouldn’t pick up.

I think it was a bogus number because once she even e-mailed me just after I called it and she still didn’t pick up.

I have a feeling despite the English issues, she wasn’t very smart.

She didn’t even confirm her number again.

She wasted just over 2 weeks of my precious time trying to confirm her.

I believe this is a male. Yes, he was buying the book, “How to Become an Escort” for a girl, & if she’s anything like him, I wouldn’t want her in the escort industry anyway.

He was nasty right from the get go.

Unfortunately there were problems with his credit cards, but one finally did go through, so he blamed me. Fine, I can get upset too when my card doesn’t take, but he’s in the UK & there’s a 50/50 chance his credit card would or would not go through because banks outside the US don’t always participate in the fraud protection program & I have strict fraud protection on my account. He should know this, as most people outside the US know there can be problems.

Then the short survey I have everyone fill out wasn’t working, there was a slight bug which was quickly fixed after he told us about it.

So I totally understand that this guy would be upset about that, but what he said afterwards was unacceptable.

He refused to be screened telling me I’m a con artist because I call everyone.

He said he’s hearing impaired so I can’t call him which isn’t true, there are phone numbers for the deaf & hearing impaired, as they use machines. I used to work for the Canadian Hearing Society.

Even so, something could have been worked out, but this very very angry person started accusing me of all types of things, threatening law suits, credit card retaliation, etc. etc.

He wouldn’t stop e-mailing me even after I reversed his charge, so I had to get my lawyer to e-mail him to stop.

Funny enough, the minute my lawyer contacted him, there was no response back.

Very very nasty man. I actually feel sorry for him that he is soooo unhappy & feels everyone is out to get him.
